James Masterton was employed by the British Linen Bank and became manager of the Turriff Branch in the north of Scotland.

Genealogy

James Masterton was the elder son of James Masterton, winding engineman, and Jeanie Bain, who had married in 1898 in Dunfermline. James therefore belongs to the large group of Mastertons that flourished in the Cramond and later, Dunfermline, area. He married Margaret (Peggy) Christie McKenzie in 1932 in Buckie.
