Florence Innes Douglas was the second child of George Innes Douglas of Dunfermline and Ethel Bessie Daisy Ayers, born in Norfolk. In 1951 she married George Strathearn Jeffries of Inverkeithing, Fife. The Jeffries and Douglas families are closely linked to the Masterton family.
